Type 2 Diabetes symptoms include:

  • Fatigue
  • Increased thirst and dry mouth
  • Increased urination
  • Frequent vaginal or urinary infections
  • Erectile dysfunction

It is important to keep an eye out for symptoms of pre-diabetes so you can take action before it progresses to type 2 diabetes. If you notice any of the above is happening to you it is vitally important you seek a medical opinion and assessment in the first instance through your GP.

Pre-diabetes symptoms include:

  • Feeling tired and hungry all the time
  • Poor sleep
  • Difficulty focusing
  • Neuropathy (numbness, tingling in feet and hands)
  • Skin darkens in the neck, armpits, and skin folds
  • Developing many small skin tags
  • Weight gain, particularly around the waist

At Nutrition for Life Healthcare we conduct our sessions according to science and in the instance of the Chronic form of Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes is reversible. Diet and lifestyle changes will reverse it. NOT medications. Although many of our clients begin commencing support on medication prescribed through their GP and/ or Specialist. It is definitely not up to us to de-prescribe medication, but as the client adapts to newly formed positive health habits and collaborates with their GP and/ or Specialist, the process of de-prescribing may become a reality provided the patient achieves the markers we would all want to look out for in them making progress to reverse this condition.
