There are three ways to fuel you body; Carbs, Protein or Healthy Fats
Lower Carbohydrate and Healthy Fat (LCHF) is the replacement of carbohydrates in your diet with natural fat rather than protein.
Food is just a fuel. If you reduce your carbohydrate and glucose intake you will need to replace it with either protein or fat. Protein and fat are more efficient fuels.
A portion of the protein you consume will get converted to glucose whereas fat stabilises blood glucose and does not provoke an insulin response.
Increasing natural saturated fat consumption will improve both insulin and leptin sensitivity, and help you take back control of your health and weight.
Naturally occurring saturated fat is the optimal carbohydrate replacement.
