Kale toastie

Cooking time: 5 minutes

2 large kale leaves, stem trimmed
60g shaved leg ham
35g tasty cheese, grated
4 cherry tomatoes, sliced
Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper

  1. Preheat the sandwich press.
  2. Lie one kale leaf face-down on a plate, then layer with the ham, cheese and tomato.
  3. Season to taste, then top with the second kale leaf and carefully place in the sandwich press.
  4. Press down on the toastie and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the kale is to your liking.
  5. Serve immediately.
